Piraeus Bank revised its tariff policy on transactions to withdraw cash from ATMs in the territory of Ukraine. Starting from June 1, 2016 all holders of Piraeus Bank’s debit payment card will be able to withdraw cash free of charge at any ATM of Ukraine stated the Bank’s press office with reference to the Retail Banking Department.
First five transactions per month will be free of charge regardless of the transaction amount. Starting from the sixth transaction, the tariff for cash withdrawing from ATMs of all Ukrainian banks will be 1.5% + 5 UAH.
Also remind that cash withdrawal in Piraeus Bank ATM network for holders of debit cards is free of charge without transactions’ limits.
New tariffs order was set up in connection with the stop of payments execution within joint ATM network “Atmosphere” starting from 26th of May, 2016.

On July 21st, 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced changes on the transactions and operations carried out abroad (outside of the territory of Ukraine) on Hryvnia (UAH) cards and accounts. Those new limitations are only related to operations, carried out abroad from UAH cards and accounts, whilst foreign currency cards and accounts have not been impacted from those restrictions. In detail:
UAH12.500 equivalent in foreign currency per 7 days from the first time of withdrawal. The limit is not calculated cumulatively.
UAH80.000 equivalent per calendar month for transactions at POS terminals (physical presence of card or NFC technology on phone), purchases on the internet secured by full 3DSecure* and recurring payments**.
UAH20.000 equivalent per calendar month for the rest type of online transactions.
