05 June 2025

In May, the Piraeus Bank team held another session within its ongoing ESG initiative aimed at promoting women’s leadership. This time, the spotlight was on personal finance and income growth.

The session’s keynote speaker was Svitlana Malezhyk — a financial literacy expert, business consultant, and mentor in financial management and systems thinking. During her talk, she shared practical tools for managing personal finances effectively while maintaining a balance between income, expenses, and overall well-being.

Key topics discussed included:

  • Building a personal finance management system;
  • Foundations for financial stability: physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual;
  • The concept of "life circles" and their impact on well-being;
  • Mindful budgeting and goal-setting practices;
  • Techniques for self-support and self-praise as components of inner resilience.

Participants received valuable tips on daily financial management, including:

  • How to plan income and expenses while maintaining life balance;
  • Why it’s important to assess the long-term impact of purchases;
  • Approaches to making investment decisions.

Svitlana also shared insights from her own professional journey, making the session dynamic, practical, and inspiring.

Piraeus Bank continues to support internal initiatives that foster employee development, strengthen a culture of equality, and unlock women’s leadership potential in the banking sector.
