The Ukraine–Greece Business Forum took place in Kyiv on June 3, organized by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Enterprise Greece, and the Embassy of Greece in Ukraine. The event was also supported by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, UkraineInvest, and the European Business Association.
The Forum brought together over 100 Greek investors and business leaders, alongside Ukrainian government representatives and local enterprises. The Greek delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Tasos Chatzivasileiou, accompanied by government officials and business representatives. Greek officials and entrepreneurs delivered a powerful message of solidarity, paying tribute to the extraordinary resilience of the Ukrainian people.
On the Ukrainian side, speakers included Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Yevhen Perebyinis, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development Ms. Marina Denysiuk, and Deputy Minister of Energy Mr. Roman Andarak.
Piraeus Bank was represented by CEO Yannis Kyriakopoulos, who took an active part in the Forum. In his remarks, Yannis Kyriakopoulos shared his views on Ukraine’s business climate, recent macroeconomic developments, the resilience of the financial system, and the strong potential the country holds for Greek investors.
