21 January 2026

Starting January 14, Piraeus Bank launched a training program titled “Supporting Veterans: Communication, Adaptation, and Understanding”, implemented in partnership with the educational and psychological platform Rozumiu.

The program consists of a series of online webinars aimed at supporting veteran reintegration processes and developing practical skills for effective and respectful communication with veterans and their families. The training is designed for Piraeus Bank’s branch network managers.

Through its partnership with the Rozumiu platform, the Bank is able to draw on the expertise of specialists in psychological adaptation and social interaction, as well as access high-quality training materials based on real-life experience working with veterans.

As part of the program, participants gain:

  • practical skills for effective communication with veterans and their families;
  • an understanding of the psychological aspects of post-service adaptation;
  • tools for creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive work environment.

The training program includes three webinars:

  • “Communication and Interaction with Veterans”;
  • “Experience and Consequences: Awareness”;
  • “Communicating with Veterans and Their Families in the Workplace.”

Commenting on the launch of the program, Natalia Plakhova, Head of Learning and Talent Development at Piraeus Bank, said:

In 2026, we identified veteran support as one of the key focus areas of our work. This is not just training — it is part of our corporate culture, built on respect, understanding, and responsibility. We aim to strengthen our confidence and capability in addressing important social issues.”

Piraeus Bank will continue to develop partnerships with specialized expert organizations to foster a culture of conscious engagement, support, and responsible business in today’s challenging environment.
