Yannis Kyriakopoulos will chair the Management Board of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine

Yannis Kyriakopoulos has been appointed the Chairman of the Management Board of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine starting from September 21, 2021. The relevant decision was adopted by the Supervisory Board of the Bank on September 14, 2021.
Mr. Kyriakopoulos is the Country Manager and for 14 years has chaired the Supervisory Board of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine.
Emil Angelov, who was a member of the Supervisory Board, will replace him as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Ilias Mouzakis, former acting Chairman of the Management Board, will take up the post of member of the Management Board of Piraeus Bank in Ukraine.

Note:
Yannis Kyriakopoulos has over 30 years of professional experience in the international banking and financial markets.
He joined Piraeus Bank in 1999 as General Manager of its London Branch. In the past, he has served as Head of International Banking, Head of Corporate and Shipping Finance and Head of Wealth management in Piraeus Bank Group.
Yannis holds an MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Democritus University, Greece. He also holds an MSc degree in Engineering from the City University, London, and an MSc degree in Investment Management from CASS Business School, London.
Before joining Piraeus Bank, Yannis Kyriakopoulos has been the Deputy General Manager of Ionian Bank, London. Previous professional experience includes working for KPMG and Andersen.
He has served in various Board of Directors positions in all international banking subsidiaries of Piraeus Bank Group as well as in real estate subsidiaries, as Vice Chairman in Hellenic Seaways and as Chairman of the Hellenic Bankers' Association-UK.

Emil Angelov has profound experience in all aspects of banking and special focus in retail, credit risk, payments and operations, treasury, e-channels and leasing activities. Mr. Angelov joined Piraeus Bank Group in 2006 as Deputy CEO, of Piraeus Bank (Bulgaria) and it is CEO from 2016 until 2019. Emil has served as Supervisory Board Member of Piraeus Bank ICB (Ukraine) between 2007 and 2013 and was reappointed in 2017. He started his career in Commercial Bank Biochim (Bulgaria) and served in senior executive positions in the different banks of Bulgaria.
Emil Angelov was a member of Executive Board of the Bulgaria Banking Association and Manager of International Banking Institute – a partnership of Bulgarian Central Bank, Association of Banks in Bulgaria and French Association of Banks.
Mr. Emil graduated from University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria) and has master's degree in finance.
