Piraeus Bank has increased cashback rate on credit cards up to 7% starting from 20th of August 2018.
So now Piraeus Bank returns up to 7% for every payment by a credit card for definite groups of goods and services (not less than 30 UAH and not more than 300 грн.) during periods set up by the bank. Money return to the credit card account is executed on the first working day of each month.
Until the end of September according to the updated schedule, cashback is accrued on the purchases of books, clothes, stationary an office suppliers, electronics in specialized shops as well as on payments to kindergartens, schools, colleges, universities. The cashback rate depends on a purchase or service category.
Cashback accruing decreases a credit card debt and correspondingly minimum payments which are to be paid by a card owner monthly.
The offer is available since 20 th of August till 30th of September.
On July 21st, 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced changes on the transactions and operations carried out abroad (outside of the territory of Ukraine) on Hryvnia (UAH) cards and accounts. Those new limitations are only related to operations, carried out abroad from UAH cards and accounts, whilst foreign currency cards and accounts have not been impacted from those restrictions. In detail:
UAH12.500 equivalent in foreign currency per 7 days from the first time of withdrawal. The limit is not calculated cumulatively.
UAH80.000 equivalent per calendar month for transactions at POS terminals (physical presence of card or NFC technology on phone), purchases on the internet secured by full 3DSecure* and recurring payments**.
UAH20.000 equivalent per calendar month for the rest type of online transactions.
