AGENCY AGREEMENTS FOR SALE AND PURCHASE OF SECURITIES

AGENCY AGREEMENTS FOR SALE AND PURCHASE OF SECURITIES

For the owners of small blocks of securities and minority shareholders, Piraeus Bank offers to make agency agreements for the purchase and sale of securities.

Under that type of agreement, the designated agent (Piraeus Bank) undertakes, in the name of the Principal (Client of Piraeus Bank), on behalf and at the expense of the Principal, for a fee, within the terms and conditions of the agency agreement, to enter into one or more agreements with third parties regarding purchase or sale of securities.

Piraeus Bank undertakes to enter into a tripartite agreement (Client, Piraeus Bank, third interested party) to fulfil the agency agreement that will define the rights and obligations of the Client and the third party as a buyer or seller of securities. Piraeus Bank grants legal status to the tripartite agreement, but does not acquire any rights or obligations thereunder.

At the Client's request, Piraeus Bank may, on behalf of the Client, sign an agreement with a third party on the purchase and sale of securities and take all necessary actions to fulfil the agency agreement. In that case, the Client undertakes to provide Piraeus Bank with the funds necessary for the fulfilment of the agency agreement
