Pension fund prolonged its cooperation with Piraeus Bank till the end of 2015

Pension Fund of Ukraine prolonged its cooperation with Piraeus Bank till 1 January, 2016, as stated the press service of the bank with reference on announced results of committee’s decision on 26th June.

The tender committee for the banks’ selection considered the findings of the National Bank of Ukraine regarding the financial position and execution over the past six months of prudential regulations by the banks authorized to service of pensioners’ and recipients’ of social assistance current accounts, and decided to extend Piraeus Bank’s contract period until 1 January, 2016.

In addition to the financial condition of the institution, the tender committee also reviewed the activities of the bank while paying of pensions and financial assistance, as well as carrying out all operations and transactions in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation and NBU policy.

Customers - recipients of pensions and social assistance in Piraeus Bank have possibility to receive 10% per annum on the balance of the account, use the card worldwide and to receive money in the bank and ATMs network atmosphere free of charge and get european service in bank branches throughout Ukraine.

Among the banks, which have the consent from pensioners and recipients of social assistance to open accounts for payment of pensions and financial assistance, are the following: Piraeus Bank, PJSC "Idea Bank", JSC "Bank "Finance and Credit", JSC "ProCredit Bank", JSC "Diamantbank" and others.

Earlier, the press service of the bank stated that "Credit Rating" agency confirmed the reliability level of deposits in Piraeus Bank.
