Piraeus Bank has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at supporting women’s potential, advancing gender equality, and fostering female leadership. This initiative is part of the bank’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy and focuses on creating equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of gender.

"In today’s world, gender equality is not just a social value but an essential factor for business success. We strive to create an environment where every woman, regardless of her role or position, has the opportunity to unlock her potential and achieve career heights. Piraeus Bank not only supports the ideas of inclusivity but also takes definite steps to implement them," said the project initiator, Iryna Stakhurska, a member of the Management Board and Head of the Operations Department. 

The first stage of the initiative was a live meeting held on January 28 in Kyiv. Female employees of the bank participated in the event, where they had the opportunity to engage with Slava Svitova — a writer, expert on creative potential, and ambassador of the Ukrainian language. Slava shared her experiences in overcoming challenges, building a personal brand, and fostering creativity.
The event served as a platform for discussing key issues related to gender equality and exchanging ideas. Special attention was given to the importance of mutual support among women in both professional and personal development.

This program aims to provide women with greater opportunities for career development, involvement in strategic decision-making, and the creation of an inclusive work environment. As part of the initiative, a series of events is planned, including meetings with successful female leaders, training sessions, discussions, and experience sharing.
