Ilias Mouzakis, Retail Banking Director of Piraeus Bank stated that new functionalities are currently available for all WinBank customers. He said that from now on, all credit card customers’ have additional options in addition to repayment of their credit cards remotely through WinBank and producing their payment receipt, also to block and unblock their credit cards by themselves remotely as well as re-order a credit card due to loss or damage at a lower cost.
According to him everything is done in only three steps from the comfort of your own space. All you need to do is to first use the menu “Credit Card Management”, second to order a duplicate of your credit card and third to choose the account for which the reissuing fee will be charged and the branch from which you prefer to collect the card. "In 5 days the card is available and ready to be used" - assures Ilias Mouzakis.
The bank reported earlier the launch of its WinBank customers’ activation campaign. WinBank is a remote electronic banking service through which the bank’s registered customers have a 24/7 access to their accounts and to all relevant functionalities the bank offers on a real time on-line mode from any computer via the Internet.
The Retail Banking Director noted that the purpose of the above communication is to remind to all clients about the benefits of using online services, and to those who have just started to use the service, explain how to make the use of winbank more convenient. He said that the content of these messages contains information about the functionality of WinBank, and takes into account a variety of potential seasonal needs of customers in financial services.

On July 21st, 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced changes on the transactions and operations carried out abroad (outside of the territory of Ukraine) on Hryvnia (UAH) cards and accounts. Those new limitations are only related to operations, carried out abroad from UAH cards and accounts, whilst foreign currency cards and accounts have not been impacted from those restrictions. In detail:
UAH12.500 equivalent in foreign currency per 7 days from the first time of withdrawal. The limit is not calculated cumulatively.
UAH80.000 equivalent per calendar month for transactions at POS terminals (physical presence of card or NFC technology on phone), purchases on the internet secured by full 3DSecure* and recurring payments**.
UAH20.000 equivalent per calendar month for the rest type of online transactions.
