Piraeus Bank took the 1st position in the rating of the most sound mid-sized retail banks in August, 2019

Piraeus Bank took the 1st position in the rating of the most sound mid-sized retail banks (with assets less than UAH 15 bln and a retail deposit portfolio more than UAH 1 bln on July, 1st 2019) in August, 2019 and has become the only bank with a total rating score equal to "1".

The rating is based on the financials published by NBU (as of 01.07.2019) and on indicators such as retail deposit/capital ratio, shareholders’ reliability (reputation), safety of deposits and the 3-month deposit interest rate.

The total score was calculated as the sum of all indicators weighted by their respective weights.
