Supervisory Board of the Bank approved Nicholas Zenzefilis deputy chairman of JSC “Piraeus Bank ICB”

Supervisory Board of the Bank approved Nicholas Zenzefilis as Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Piraeus Bank ICB” from December 7, 2015, stated the press service of the Bank. The decision on the appointment was made by the Supervisory Board of the Bank on November 9 this year.

As the chairman of the Board of JSC “Piraeus Bank ICB” Sergei Naumov, “Nicholas Zenzefilis – banker with extensive experience in the banking sector, in particular, almost 15 years of experience in the Piraeus Bank Group. Appointment of Vice-Chairman of the Board – it the result of his efficient work in Piraeus Bank over the past years”.

The main areas of N.Zenzefilis’s responsibilities on new position will be monitoring of the strategic plans and implementation of decisions approved by the Supervisory Board, implementation of organizational changes, monitoring the Bank’s financial results and its strategy in terms of Asset and Liability Management.

Starting from 2000 N.Zenzefilis has worked for Piraeus Bank Group initially in the United Kingdom and then in Greece and Ukraine and held positions in the Treasury and the International Banking Department of the Group. In 2007 he started working in Piraeus Bank in Ukraine in the position of the Treasury Director and in 2011 was appointed to the position Member of the Management Board.

Nicolas Zenzefilis graduated from the City University of London Business School with a Master’s degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance and the University of Piraeus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping Economics. He is also a holder of the qualification of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and during his studies has been awarded a number of scholarships both in Greece and the United Kingdom.
