Piraeus Bank in Ukraine increased interest rates on deposits in hryvna for individuals

From March 5, 2012 Piraeus Bank raised deposit rates on term deposits in hryvna for individuals on 0.5-1% per annum. In particular, the rates for "Standard" deposit for the tenor of 12 months increased on 1% to 17% -17.5% per annum depending on the amount of deposit. Rates for deposits "Pension" (up to 18% per annum for a tenor of 12 months), "Interests upfront" (to 14.75% for the placement of 6 months) and "Take it higher" (20% per annum) increased also.

Thus, for the deposits in national currency the customers of Piraeus Bank can receive up to 20% per annum in hryvna, up to 10% per annum in US dollars and up to 8% per annum in Euro.

Piraeus Bank also offers better conditions of funds allocation for the existing customers. Thus, a client who owns a pension account in the bank, or customer, who opened "Christmas mood" deposit, receives an increased rate on deposits (for 0.5% per annum). Also, when placing a deposit amounting to more than UAH 350 thousand, the interest rate on deposits "Standard" and "Pension" increases by 0.5% per annum.

On March 2, 2012 Piraeus Bank received another confirmation of the highest rating of deposits’ reliability (score "5") from the country's biggest rating agency "Credit Rating". "Reliability is one of the main advantages of placing a deposit in Piraeus Bank", - Mr. Hnylenko said.
