Piraeus Bank continued the payment card validation period
07 April 2020

Piraeus Bank extends the validity period of its cards which expired in March, up to June, 1st 2020. Such decision contributes further to the bank’s position to protect its clients through additionally limiting their physical presence in branches without affecting accessing their money.

In such way, the bank’s customers do not need to visit the branches in case their card was expired. Customers may contact the bank’s Call Center directly in order to activate their cards by calling on 0-800-30-888-0, free of charge throughout the territory of Ukraine, +38 (044) 495-88- 90 - for calls from abroad or via Skype - Piraeusbank.connect.

In case the quarantine will be further prolonged, a similar action will apply to cards which expire in April.

Customers are reminded that they may currently use their cards in order to execute the following transactions:
• transactions through Internet-banking;
• make payments through POS-terminals;
• withdraw cash from Piraeus Bank ATMs.

Nevertheless, all new cards are delivered to the bank’s branches and, if necessary, clients can collect them from the branch. However, it is advisable to postpone collection after the quarantine is over.

In case you experience any difficulties completing your transactions while using the extended in validity cards, you may need to try a different POS terminal or ATM. At all times please be reminded to contact our Call Center to receive additional assistance if problems persist.
